Who we are

LocQar Technologies Ltd. ("LocQar", "we") operates a smart-locker delivery network in Ghana. This policy explains what personal data we collect when you use locqar.com, our apps, lockers, and delivery services, and how we handle it. We process personal data in line with Ghana's Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843).

What we collect

  • Contact details — your name and phone number (and email for business accounts). Your phone number is how parcels are addressed to you.
  • Delivery data — parcel details, pickup and drop-off locations, tracking events, and one-time access codes.
  • Payment data — amounts and payment status for paid services. Card and mobile-money details are processed by our payment providers; we do not store them.
  • Technical data — device and usage information needed to keep the service secure and working.

How we use it

  • To deliver, route, and secure parcels — including SMS notifications with pickup codes.
  • To operate business accounts, billing, and our API.
  • To prevent fraud and keep lockers and accounts secure.
  • To meet legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers needed to run the network (e.g. SMS and payment providers) and where the law requires.

Retention & your rights

We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes above. You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and you may object to certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact support@locqar.com.

Changes

We may update this policy as the service evolves. Material changes will be announced on this page with a new "last updated" date.
