1. The service
LocQar Technologies Ltd. ("LocQar") operates a smart-locker delivery network in Ghana. These terms apply when you send, receive, buy, or sell through LocQar — via our website, apps, lockers, agents, or API. By using the service you accept these terms.
2. Sending & receiving
- Parcels are addressed by phone number. You are responsible for providing the correct recipient number.
- Pickup codes are one-time and personal. Anyone presenting a valid code at the locker is treated as authorised — keep codes private.
- Parcels must be collected within the stated window; uncollected parcels may incur storage fees or be returned to the sender.
- Prohibited items (illegal goods, dangerous materials, perishables not approved for locker storage) may not be sent through the network.
3. Business accounts & API
Business accounts are approved by LocQar and governed by the plan and pricing agreed at sign-up. API keys and webhook secrets are confidential; you are responsible for activity under your keys. We may suspend accounts that abuse the network or breach these terms.
4. Marketplace
Verified-seller and escrow features facilitate transactions between independent buyers and sellers. LocQar verifies seller identity and holds escrow funds per the published flow, but is not the seller of marketplace goods.
5. Fees & payments
Fees follow the published rate card or your business agreement. Cash-on-delivery and prepaid amounts are processed by our payment providers. Fees shown before confirmation are indicative; the confirmation SMS or invoice states the final amount.
6. Liability
We take care of parcels while in the network, but our liability for loss or damage is limited to the declared value of the parcel or the statutory minimum, whichever is higher. We are not liable for indirect losses. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under Ghanaian law.
7. Changes & contact
